Imagine…
What if everyone grew their own vegetables?
What if everyone was very healthy? Doctors would become redundant and the hospitals empty of sick people.
Imagine a New Zealand where every family grows their own vegetables. Children wake up to a breakfast of carrots, peas and fruit. Their school lunchbox is brimming with vegetables and the children snack on fruit. Imagine how the doctors sit around filing their fingernails because their consultation rooms are empty. Imagine the hospitals nearly empty but for the people hurt on our roads. Imagine how the Ministry of Health inhabit the smallest office in the capital and how the Minister is scratching his head as to what is going right in his portfolio.
Imagine how our football and rugby teams win against every other team in the world because they are so fit and their bodies so healthy because of all the spray-free, heritage vegetables their wives feed them.
Imagine how mothers and fathers only have to work part time because they save so much money by growing their own food. Imagine how the supermarket chains stop transporting vegetables long distances and start buying from local growers because their customers never buy the 'mileage-burdened' fruit and vegetables.
Imagine seeing masses of school children walking or cycling to school because they simply have so much energy now that parents have no peace unless the children have an outlet for their super energy charged little bodies.
Imagine office meetings where the bosses are noisily eating apples and peaches with the juices running down their chins before calling the meeting to order.
Imagine fruit presses in place of coffee machines in every home and café. Imagine bright-eyed grandparents sipping juices in the square.
Imagine the New Zealand Prime Minister winning the Nobel Price for New Zealand being the healthiest country in the world and Ban Ki Moon coming here to find our secret so that other countries can copy our invention.
What if…
