Fair Food NZ volunteers wanted now

Fair Food are looking for volunteers in Auckland to help collect surplus food from retailers and distribute it to community groups who share it with families and people in need.

"Fair Food is about the collection and redistribution of surplus food. By collecting food that would otherwise be going to waste and redirecting it to those who need it, Fair Food is building important relationships between the business and community sector.

Fair Food is not a food bank but it is Auckland’s first Food Rescue operation with unlimited opportunities ahead.

With a dual social and environmental purpose, interest is high from the commercial, business, social, community, educational and environmental sectors."
