Congratulations Sam Judd – young New Zealander of the year!
Greg Roughan - Green Ideas editor
Huge congratulations to Green Ideas contributor Sam Judd who has been honoured as the Young New Zealander of the Year for his work leading the coastline clean-up and education charity Sustainable Coastlines.
Sam was a part of Green Ideas magazine from issue 1 – we profiled Sam and Sustainable Coastlines – and he's helped us out with his extensive expertise in all things environmental: writing articles, sharing contacts and offering advice.
Sam's also a very practical hands-on guy: in Green Ideas issue 1, he wrote a fantastic step-by-step guide to making a vertical planter box out of an old shipping pallet, and in our second issue he took readers through the simple process of making a rooftop rainwater collection system.
So big congratulations from us – a well deserved honour.
