Found this pic; I think it’s a really cool idea and it would look great hanging over the bench that divides my kitchen from the dining room. Think I’ll go scouring some second-hand shops and garage sales for some nice bottles this weekend!

Solar light bulbs made from plastic bottles, water and bleach

These amazing light bulbs use no power and are being installed in slums to illuminate houses that have no electricity or windows for natural light. Downside: they only work during the day! Check out the video here.
