Hillary Clinton wants a billion solar panels in four years

"I want more wind, more solar, more advanced biofuels, more energy efficiency," Hillary Clinton has stated at a rally in Iowa. "And I've got to tell you, people who argue against this are just not paying attention."
Clinton is campaigning ahead of the presidential primaries – where the main political parties choose their candidates for the upcoming presidential election – and has chosen to emphasise the need for more renewable energy in the US, showing that addressing climate change has become far more politically acceptable in the States.
Clinton’s campaign has said it wants a 700 per cent increase in installed solar power capacity – and intends to change tax incentives so that fossil fuels were not as heavily favoured.
She added that building a “clean energy economy” would boost growth and mean more jobs and businesses – and took a jab at Republicans who still denied climate change was man made.
