We are a family-owned business, well respected in the building Industry supplying wood plastic composite (WPC) outdoor decking products throughout New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands. The company was first established in 2004 in Nelson, inspired by the need to help save rain forests. In June 2013 the company was sold and in May 2014 we relocated our business to Auckland and rebranded under its current name, Dachshund Decks.

The decision to move to Auckland was driven by the desire to be at the doorstep of the largest market in New Zealand and all that the building industry has to offer. As a proven South Island specialist in composite decking, we wanted to be more accessible to our North Island clients including merchants, architects, developers and home builders. Dachshund Decks may be new in name but we have still retained our original staff with years of experience in dealing with composite decking. So we know our product and we're happy to advise you on your decking project.
