Gadgets for travellers

This eco-friendly approach to clothes washing caught our eye recently. Designed for travellers, it allows you to wash single items in a hotel sink.
Called the Dolfi, the palm-sized device uses ultrasound waves to agitate water, creating micro bubbles that gently clean clothes’ fibres from the inside out. All it needs is a sink of water, a dash of washing powder, and a nearby plug. You simply switch the device on, drop it in the water with whatever you need cleaned, and leave it to do its work.
It’s anticipated that regular travellers will use the Dolfi to keep shirts and underwear clean without needing expensive hotel laundry services, or needing to run power-hungry washing machines virtually empty.
