Imagine being able to make money from all the beautiful, unused clothes in your wardrobe – while helping the environment at the same time.
That’s the idea behind young French entrepreneur Fiona Disegni’s fashion rental service, Rentez-Vous, launched recently in Paris and London.
Under her Rentez-Vous system, women can make cash from unused clothes at special events where they rent items from each other. Plus designers with new clothes to sell can offer them on a rent-or-buy basis, helping shoppers avoid wasteful snap purchases that end up in a ‘fashion mistakes’ drawer.
