Just read this on the NZ Herald website – awesome!

These guys take surplus food stock away that can’t be sold because it’s past expiry, damaged etc and use it to make nutritionally balanced stock feed and fertiliser, which then gets distributed to farmers. What a brilliant idea.

Imagine what this could mean for recycling in New Zealand. Good on you EcoStock! They reckon they could reduce waste going to landfill by millions of tonnes each year.
