I came across this cool homemade heater on the internet the other day and wondered if you'd like us to show you how it's made in a step-by-step article in Green Ideas magazine?

It's made from soft-drink cans that are painted black to warm up the air inside them. You prop it outside, connect a hose on the top to a cold part of your house like a garage or workshop, and hey-presto! You've got warm air flowing into your house, heating it for free.

If enough people think this is a really cool idea that they'd like to try for themselves, we'll get our crack carpenters on to it and work out how it's made!
