New range a breakthrough in eco-friendly cleaning

A new range of NZ-made eco-friendly cleaners breaks through all of the barriers to consumers using eco-friendly cleaning products.

The introduction of the Green Kleen range will enable many more Kiwi families to enjoy the benefits of living sustainably, says national sales manager, Simon Yandall. 

“The products are effective, pleasant to use, and they don’t cost any more than big global brands that have traditional formulations.

“We think it’s a breakthrough in eco-friendly cleaning, and means that more Kiwis can embrace healthier choices for cleaning inside and outside the home."

Mr Yandall says independent research has shown that demand for eco-friendly cleaning is at a tipping point. “People want their homes to be clean and non-toxic places for the family. They are increasingly aware of the health and environmental impacts of their product choices.”

The whole Green Kleen household range carries the Environmental Choice New Zealand (ECNZ) eco label, which offers strong proof of environmental performance. The products are formulated using natural and non-hazardous ingredients.Of the range there are two absolute stand-outs. Green Kleen Floor Cleaner Concentrate is a super-concentrated high-performance formula which will make 250 litres of floor cleaner, whilst many big brands are three to four times less concentrated. Alongside this is Manuka Oil Dazzling Dishwash Liquid, which is completely different to other products in both performance and aesthetics.

“There has been a perception that natural is not as effective. We’ve come up with some innovations in the way we use ingredients, and consumer testing has confirmed the products perform well.”

Green Kleen includes what Mr Yandall believes is a first for New Zealand, an eco-friendly car care range.

The home care products are available from selected supermarkets, and Farro Fresh.
